African arbitration is growing, but navigating legal frameworks and enforcement practice across jurisdictions remains a challenge.

This session, convened by GIZ, Laws.Africa and Afrika-Verein der deutschen Wirtschaft, presents new data on arbitral award enforcement across African jurisdictions and a preview of the African Arbitration Hub, an open-access digital tool in development by GIZ and Laws.Africa, followed by an open discussion to help shape the Hub’s further development and networking over fingerfood.
