The German African Business Summit (GABS) stands as Germany’s signature business event in Africa. Every two years, GABS brings together leading business and government figures from Germany and Sub-Saharan Africa to foster and advance economic ties between Europe’s largest economy and the world’s fastest-growing region.

This summit is organized by the Sub-Saharan Africa Initiative of German Business (SAFRI) and is presided over by SAFRI Chairman Thomas Schaefer.

The GABS 2024 in Nairobi is where German and African business interests converge, where economic partnerships between Germany and Sub-Saharan Africa are reinforced, and where business trends and market opportunities are explored.
