The Women’s Empowerment Principles are an initiative by UN Women aimed at advancing gender equality in business and empowering women. This virtual session will focus on companies' experiences as WEPs signatories and AV members and their actions to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment.

Learn how the WEPs offer a strong framework for companies to advance gender equality in the workplace, marketplace and community. Membership in the German-African Business Association, combined with the WEPs blueprint, provides companies with valuable business networks and opportunities to lead actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5 on gender equality.
