Achieving SDG 5 on gender equality and women’s empowerment implies growing resilience against challenges related to all sorts of discrimination against women. Be it in the political, social or economic sphere, advocacy for women’s rights and welfare became crucial for the advancement of Women globally.

Hon. Harriette Chiggai, Advisor to the President of Kenya on Women’s Rights and Gender, will share invaluable insights on the impact of women’s rights advocacy on female entrepreneurship in Kenya. Award-winning Chiggai will also tell us about her extensive experiences and her influential role in shaping policy and addressing women’s issues at the highest levels of governance and how this advocacy impact on women entrepreneurship.

The webinar offers the platform to all participants to share experiences on policies and frameworks to promote an environment conducive to women entrepreneurship and women–led businesses in Africa.
