Memberships & Partnerships

As part of our activities, we rely on a strong network of 50 partner institutions in Germany and 47 partners across 33 countries on the African continent. We have entered into partnership agreements with these institutions and can always count on a high level of cooperation. Our partners support us in planning and organising events and provide our members with important contacts. Furthermore, we have strong links with industry associations, chambers of commerce and investment agencies in most countries, meaning we have a suitable local contact for all enquiries.

For over 90 years, the Africa Association of German Business (AV) has been supporting companies in their economic engagement across the African continent. With more than 400 members — from start-ups to DAX-listed corporations — we represent around 85 percent of German business activity in Africa.
