Afrika-Verein (German-African Business Association) and GAA – German Agribusiness Alliance are pleased to invite you to the

12^th German-African Agribusiness Forum
“Resilient Agri-Food Systems in Africa: Strong Partnerships – Shared Opportunities “
January 15^th, 2027,
live event in Berlin
(Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton)

The forum will be held with support from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH) and we are looking forward to welcoming up to 250 high-level decision makers from business, politics and other relevant fields for the agricultural sector. We expect up to 250 participants.

Agriculture remains the cornerstone of development for emerging economies worldwide and the basis for human nutrition and well-being. In Africa, a resilient agri-food sector has the potential to decrease poverty, to boost rural development and to improve overall living conditions and food security drastically. To achieve those goals, we want to build upon already established partnerships and innovative ideas from both Africa and Germany.

Within the framework of our 12^th German-African Agribusiness Forum, we will take a review of future-oriented projects that have been tackled in recent years but also look into the future of agriculture in Africa. We want to provide a platform for all kinds of experts and practitioners in the field and renew our commitment to partnerships between Germany and Africa.

Among others, the following key topics will be addressed:

• The German – African Relationship: Strengthening Partnerships, Building Shared Opportunities
• Scaling Agricultural Technology: From Innovation to Investment
• From Market Access to Establishing Local Agricultural Value Chains: Blueprints for Success
• Beyond Agriculture: Building an Ecosystem that Enables Resilient Food Systems
• The New Generation of African Agriculture: Skills, Entrepreneurship and Growth
